Charles Smith

Charles Smith published a fine set of folio sized county maps was in 1804, with many later issues.

The Folio sized Charles Smith New General Atlas contained maps of parts of the worldand was first published in 1808.

Additionally there is a quarto-size set of English county maps which was published in 1822.

Smith had a style very similar to Cary, the maps are undecorated, but of a high quality and therefore attractive in their own way, and always worthy of attention.
