Luffman flourished between about 1770 and 1820

John Luffman is best known for publishing a quaint but well-engraved set of miniature county maps of England and Wales, each within a small circle, with text below. These maps are rare.

Luffman also engraved an interesting series of small maps and plans of towns, cities and forts in all parts of the world. All are coloured, and all bear his dated imprint.
