Reuben Ramble

Reuben Ramble published a quaint little set of lithographed maps, covering all the English counties, in1845.

The Ramble maps themselves are only a few inches square, but each is surrounded by a charming pictorial border depicting rural farming scenes, scenes of specific parts of the county, or industrial scenes, each selection suitable to the occupations, natural products, or industries of the county.

These maps are scarce, they were primarily printed for children, and undoubtedly became more and more tattered until they were finally thrown away.
