Thomas Badeslade- cartographer, antique maps -Thomas Badeslade was a surveyor by trade and designed a series of English County maps. These Badeslade maps were published in 1741-2, engraved by William Henry Touts of Hatton Garden, and later of Ludgate Hill, after his designs. The Badeslade maps display a column down the left-hand side of each map giving a list of towns with their fairs and market days, the maps are small in size. |
